The Story of Mii Robotics
The journey of Mii Robotics Pvt. Ltd. is founded on a singular vision—to transform manufacturing through innovation, engineering excellence, and intelligent automation. Driven by a commitment to indigenous technology and customer-centric innovation, Mii Robotics has evolved into a trusted partner for mission-critical automation solutions across Defence, Industrial, Aerospace, and Agricultural sectors.
The foundation of this journey was laid in 2011, when Mr. Prasad Deshpande, after a successful career in Sales and Marketing, established ARMS – Automation & Robotics Marketing Solutions, with the unwavering support of Mrs. Revati Deshpande. At a time when engineering companies largely managed sales and marketing in-house, ARMS pioneered a unique approach by combining technical expertise with specialized sales, marketing, and engineering project management services for the Industrial Automation industry.
What distinguished ARMS was its ability to understand customer challenges beyond conventional sales. By working closely with customers to develop technically sound and commercially viable engineering solutions, the company successfully executed turnkey projects that enhanced manufacturing capabilities while supporting strategically important Defence applications. As customer confidence grew, so did the aspiration to move beyond consultancy and become a technology creator, driving the transition into the design, engineering, and manufacturing of advanced automation systems.
Inspired by the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and committed to strengthening indigenous manufacturing capabilities, the company adopted a new identity as Mechanized Industrial Innovation (Mii Robotics). Incorporated as a Private Limited Company in 2017, Mii Robotics was established with a clear vision of delivering intelligent, innovative, and reliable Automation and Robotics solutions for the Defence, Industrial, and Agricultural sectors while contributing meaningfully to India’s journey towards technological self-reliance.
From its inception, Mii Robotics pursued a strategy centered on engineering excellence, innovation, and customer-focused execution. Strategic alliances with globally recognized technology leaders such as Pilz India and KUKA significantly strengthened the company’s capabilities in industrial safety and robotic automation, enabling it to deliver advanced engineering solutions to Defence PSUs, Aerospace organizations, Government establishments, and leading manufacturing companies across India.
The years that followed witnessed a series of defining milestones. In 2020, Mii Robotics successfully engineered and commissioned the world’s first indigenous 30 mm Explosive Handling Automation System, setting a new benchmark in defence manufacturing automation. The company further expanded its manufacturing infrastructure in 2021, enabling the execution of increasingly sophisticated turnkey automation projects while strengthening its production capabilities and engineering capacity.Today, Mii Robotics has successfully delivered over 200 automation and robotics projects, serving Defence PSUs, Aerospace organizations, Government establishments, and leading private-sector manufacturers. The trust reposed by its customers is reflected in long-standing business relationships and repeat orders, earned through consistent project execution, uncompromising quality standards, technical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to delivering measurable value.
A significant milestone in the company’s evolution came in 2025, when Mii Robotics became a part of the PAL Group of Companies. This strategic integration enhanced the organization’s engineering capabilities, manufacturing infrastructure, technological expertise, and global outlook. Building on this strong foundation, 2026 marked an exceptional phase of growth as the company achieved a 20-fold increase in turnover by the second quarter, reflecting accelerated business expansion, growing customer confidence, and the successful execution of high-value automation projects across strategic sectors.
